columOptions could have additional filelds like minErrorPhrase, maxErrorPhrase, maxLengthErrorPhrase, allowedValuesErrorPhrase and matchErrorPhrase that would be used instead of the hardcoded phrases if available.This would allow developers to easily define custom, precise error messages without implemeting a verify method ever ytime.
