XF 2.2 Editing existing upgrade - what to expect ?

We have an existing user upgrade that has been running for several years and of which many members are part of.
If I was to increase the price of the upgrade, ie edit the upgrade, will this cause any issues that I need to be aware of?

Upgrades with recurring payment will not be impacted by the price increase since it is handled by the payment provider like PayPal.

From my understanding (which is probably wrong) that change would only affect NEW electors of it. Existing utilizers will still be fixed at the original settings. This is NOT a limitation in XF, but in PayPal and the interface used.

Thanks, we don't use Recurring Payments in the upgrade settings so I assume once existing users come to the renewal time they'll then be offered the renewal at the new price. I was more concerned about it having an impact on existing (valid) upgrades, ie not recognising expire dates, etc.
