XF 2.2 Does a job update _ads template?

I made changes in the advertising panel and it takes forever to actually show in the boards. I go into _ads template and the changes are not there.

The changes are immediate as soon as the ad is saved.

Are you sure the changes are being applied?

Do you have an ad blocker installed on your browser?

is this via an add-on or via direct template edits/XF ads integration.
If direct integration into a template, they should take affect immediately. If you have any caching going on with your server, flushing the cache or restarting the serve will most likely be requied.

I'm hitting save, no ad blocker.

If I make changes to an advertisement, it doesn't show on the forum nor is _ads template updated. If I directly edit _ads template then it shows. So my problem is that the advertisement area is not updating _ads template.

Have you manually edited the template?

The system won't write to the template if so.

Yes, revert the template.

Then edit and resave the ad positions.
