Do the custom filters only show up as a separate block, or can they integrate with the original filters drop down instead?

At this point, I purposely made them a separate block so that the dropdown list of standard filters doesn't turn into a very long window. But if necessary, I can combine them into one standard menu. This is the first version of the plugin, there are some more ideas that I plan to add to the plugin. I am open for suggestions.

Ah I just saw it's got a minimum requirement of 2.3 - if easily possible, 2.2 compatibility would be much appreciated :D

The problem with a separate block is that on mobile this would be right at the bottom and thus missed by a lot of people - whereas the filter bar is a common enough feature that people already know how to use it :)

Interesting...
Is it compatible with XFRM?
Additionally, it would be beneficial if you Allowed users to define their preferred filter fields, including options such as ‘select’, ‘multi-select’, ‘stars’, ‘radio’, single-line text, multi-line text, and 'checkbox', which would enhance usability.
Also, it would be great if this filtering could work with the standard XF Filtering instead of a custom Block.

Sorry the minimum version of Xenforo is 2.3 and there will be no support for 2.2.

I completely agree with you, it is more convenient to keep all filters in one place, which was done.

Yes. Xenforo, Resource Manager, and XenAddons Showcase custom fields are now supported.

Users can only use custom fields that the administrator has created, and no other behavior is planned.

It's done.

Fair enough. I think I'll have a go at backporting support (as I really want this feature 😬)

Also one other question, can you choose which fields are filterable or does it just show them all?

I mean it as Administrator.
I didn't know that general users can create custom fields 🧐

In simple words, fields with ready selections are available for filtering.
This is unfortunate, as some fields we want as input, but never shown as output, so shouldn't be filterable.

On Showcase for example, you can set the placement as "self placement" and then use conditionals to make it only visible to staff.

Can be implemented like while creating /editing the custom filed it will show an option such as is this field search and filterable? Yes / No check box.

Admin will select that options if he wants to make it visible on the forum.

I don't have access to the addons I am not sure it's already implemented or not or how it works.

Apologies for that.

This is how it worked using Ozzy's mod 👍

I don't think I understand you)) Describe in detail what you need. I have Showcase installed and I don't understand what the “self placement” setting is. The showcase uses standard custom fields from Xenforo.

The simple answer is to be able to choose which fields are filterable, not just show them all.

i use some fields as "admin only visible", so I don't want users to know they exist or be able to filter on them.
