XF 2.0 Custom page with its own widget or block

I've searched the forum but couldn't find the answer.

I want to create a custom page or node and create its own widget or block in the sidebar.

Could anyone lead me to the answer on this?

Yep, it's very configurable with a little bit of work and we're going with this instead of something like XenPorta which we've happily used previously for XF1.
