Custom Field Search

Please make custom fields searchable or data available to main resource manager search, at least as an option
There is no way to search data which added using custom fields.

You have watched the structure of custom_fields?
You can add them to the search index, yes, there is an add-on now.

To search like > 20 years and < 40 years, you need the addons from Addonslab, but they are monsters.

Probably you require a new way of structure for custom fields to use them.

I see
a) you add a copy of the content in a searchable table
b) you put the searchable fields to the main tables
c) you add a new type of custom-fields to search in, while the old type is only to show information.

Been also suggested for other add-ons.. it should simply be a core ability.. guess they are waiting on a 3rd party to provide those functions for them.

Enable search based upon custom field(s)

For those of us actually using custom fields in the gallery, the ability to do an advanced search based upon them would be VERY helpful.

A bump for this old but much needed option.
I am in big need for this changes. Then I could start using XFRM as I wanted, when I bought it.

If this is not possible I would suggest that the Developer would change the Core to allow this
