XF 2.2 Conversation permissions

In the ACP > Groups & permissions > User group permissions > General permissions
Does the attribute “Submit content without approval” include conversations?
Or, are conversations a separate matter using Groups & permissions > User group permissions > Conversation permissions?

It cannot include conversations as moderators would be required to approve, and they cannot see conversations. So conversations are a separate matter.

So for newly registered members (as a measure against spammers, scammers and trolls) we require post approval and disallow conversations
