Contact moderators global option?

is there a way to add a button or link that allows a user to message all moderators at once?

Create a "contact the mods" or similar forum where all registered users have the ability to post new threads, but explicitly disable "View threads by others" permissions - and of course, give mods can see and respond to all posts.

This will let users message mods and any mod can respond - but they won't be able to see anyone else's threads.

A perfect, out of the box type, response. many MANY thanks for this. I am using it now.
