I did ask about this in the general 2.3 discussion but didn't get any confirmation if it already exists. I have gone through the list but it does not seem like supported by the CLI tool.

Rebuild post embed metadata could be very useful after an upgrade from 2.2>2.3. It seems like a way to get dimensions recorded of existing images. Which would boost user experience for everyone. I tried running it in browser and gave up after a few hours on my test install. Couldn't test if it did process dimensions of existing hotlinked images because of some data storage issue on older posts. Getting it to process more recent posts does not seem like a possibility. Planning to run it after the final upgrade to 2.3 whenever that happens.

Just feels like something that can really benefit from CLI option. One can just run it in a screen on terminal and forget about it. Thanks!
