I will have to make a clean install of xF2.1 on my online server due to upgrade my vBulletin 3 board.
I mean a clean installation before running the import.
On that time, my guests will visit the board. Of course I will have turn off the xF board after to limit the access.
But as I have did some tests on my XAMPP Localhost to intall xF2. The result: immediately after the move of xF2 files to the server, if someone visits the site, it redirects him to xF2 installation page. How could this be safe?
Maybe I will have to protect my index page with a password until xF2 installation completes?
