How would one update this list without gaining duplicate entries?

In my experience Xenforo 2 skips duplicate entries, if you import the same list twice for example it will import 0. If you import a list with duplicates from your original list, it only imports the new ones.

There are many lines of xml, perhaps you're exceeding some kind of limit on your server setup.

Try breaking the file down in (25,000 lines seems a good compromise).

I'm replying because I actually had the same problem, this isn't just a random necro-post..
