XF 2.0 Avatars not showing

Having just upgraded to XF 2.0.1, there seems to be a problem with new avatars not displaying. They upload correctly:



But fail to display:



Looking at permissions, they have the same (666) as other older avatars that display correctly.

Any suggestions welcome.

Have you tried other image formats? And did you right click on the broken image (Open Image in new Tab) to see where it goes?

Thx... even stranger.
Trying to open the image url produces a 404 not found. However, the file is clearly there on the server, at the correct address.

OK, I think it's an ownership isue. After the upgrade, new uploads are assigned an owner of "nobody". Changing the owner back to what is was makes the images display.

How do I make XF2 play nicely with this?

Try chowning the /data and /internal_data directories.
