XF 2.3 Authenticator logo

I noticed when I configure MFA for xenForo using the Microsoft Authenticator app, it automatically configures the profile with the XenForo logo. On my website, I've tried to do the same, but I always get a generic icon based on the 2 starting letters of my website name.

Is there any information on how we can configure the icon used for the MFA profile as well?

Try clearing cache , use another device to confirm.

Microsoft Authenticator no longer allows setting the icon; this is a limitation of the Microsoft Authenticator app vs Xenforo at this point.

so how do all the other companies on my MS authenticator app have logos? CloudFlare, Stripe, Login.gov, even XenForo... how do they have custom icons?

There's a subset of logos hardcoded according to them (i.e. GitHub, Facebook, etc). In the case of XenForo, if you remove the entry from your app and add it back, you'll notice you lose the XenForo logo.
