I changed my domain a week ago but the attached images are showing like a " X ". I think it may be linked to the old address. Any idea how to update them?

Did the domain change involve a server move?
If so, did you move the /data and /internal_date directories?

Do you have an example of a post with a missing attachment?

I have found a few others too.
We did move server host a while back but we also changed domain names after that too.
The directories were not touched and everything moved as it should be.

Edit: I opened the image in a new window to see the url and you can see it is using the old url in the link "gnonline.net":

I did look in the rebuild area of the admin cp but can't find anything related to updating attachment urls.

That's an (expired) proxied image pointing at your old domain, which is no longer available.

How did that happen? The image is the image in the attachments as I remember the post before the error. Shouldn't it have updated when the domain url was changed?

The image shows when I edit the post but not when im on the post itself.

Edit: attached another image of it showing the old url (not updated). Changing the url manually fixed it. Now I have to go through all the threads/posts which is daunting to fix them all. Is there no quicker way?

Yeah I was looking for something like this and Brogan kindly shared. I did post in that thread yesterday asking if it does links with titles etc. But no response.

edit: I did manage to manually make the changes, turned out there wasn’t much and I was willing to sit there and tap away.

What I don’t get is why only some did not convert to the new domain url and most did. Weird
