Hello,
If the forum intended to receive the automatic discussions of the resources is set to Article, the discussions do not display the resource bar.

Even when returning to a classic forum, the resource bar is no longer displayed... Maybe because of switching to an article forum...

I assume you've latter changed that forum node type to articles, because otherwise you can't have articles type as a resource discussion thread:

Yes, article forum type is not supported for resource discussions.

Thanks, you're right indeed, but then if it is not possible to select an article forum for the resources we should not be able to change this forum into an article forum, at least a warning should be displayed. Because I can't even go back and all threads related to resources now don't have the resource bar anymore...

Agree, there should be some warning.

You can still manually add the discussion thread:

Fortunately I only have about fifty resources to do...

Thank you for reporting this issue, it has now been resolved. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future XFRM release (2.2.5).

Change log:

Provide an additional warning when changing a forum's type if it is assigned to a resource category.

There may be a delay before changes are rolled out to the XenForo Community.
