Another forum stealing content via RSS?

that linked site looks like an rss feed.
from what my server admin friend said you either need to disable all rss feeds from your site or block the ip and/or domain of the site receiving it.
he did say that could be a little more difficult if they go through cloud flare, but you might be able to use the cf rules to do a block.
he said he had a similar issue years ago where another site was grabbing a few images to display on their site from his.
he did some kind of modification and the images that they expected turned into scat images.

i mean.....that would pretty much work for me lol.....we need author only download permission, then a scat converter lol...i was kind of surprised the lack of download permission in XF....i did finally get those zip dump links removed. i think they eventually realized it was more harm than good for their rep but there was a sort of alarming degree of hesitation so i can see this will get worse in futures.....

its really the whole AI thing that brings it to a focus for me......i was just looking up a song lyric and here is this auto reply telling me what the meaning is and who the artists are etc? it was totally wrong of course and sure i can understand artists not wanting to plug into all that and have AI describe and explain their souls in stupid simple incorrect terms.....then just i mean gossip the thing spreads that isnt right(e.g. i used to kind of trust amazon reviews) ...it makes sense for a value to be an opt out from all that...

disable right click downloads etc.....i think i have some homework, unless someone wants to bundle all that ;P

So it was brought to my attention another forum is stealing my forum's content. I believe this is done via an RSS feed. What can be done about this? The forum is fairly new and has no real content of it's own. I also suspect it's running a nulled/pirated version of Xenforo (I already reported it)

What can be done to get this forum taken down? Or at least have my forum's content removed? and then prevent this from happening again? Thanks.

To put things into perspective, the other site has a total of 8 members.

If they need to scrape content from you, consider that a sign that they admire and like your site! Focus on being the best and the original.

I was thinking, I actually use this feature on my site, but it goes into a hidden admin forum where I get updates from Xenforo (this forum) via RSS. That way I never miss an update!

This is why I can't recommend Cloudflare enough to people. It's free. You have to use someone for your DNS... why not the best one in the world to stop all this type of crazy stuff - freely?

Create a simple custom WAF rule, mine below blocks AI crawlers and RSS. It doesn't matter what URL on the site you enter, the moment you grab index.rss it is blocked.

You can wildcard it from the operator if needed, or just remove the / and any URL containing index.rss is blocked, regardless where it is.

look in the logs, get the ip, and block it
