annoying "profile posts" here

I occasionally check here to see if there's any technical news.

When I click on "What's New," I keep seeing these annoying "profile posts." What's up with that?

They're probably some private messages to someone, but why should I care? Such garbage...

It would be much more important if the Xenforo company took care of the long-outdated media gallery and its presentation in the forum. And it should be appropriately recognized and displayed here. What we experience here is that sadly media-gallery has no importance to the team. But media is what matters today, media is something to earn real cash these days ...

I apologize for my annoyance, but this is my personal opinion.

The 'Latest Activity' page shows all recent activity (except reviews). So this includes trivial stuff like profile posts, likes or multiple posts to the same thread. It's not optimal but it's currently the only overview of latest content.

If I understood correctly the team is working on a better solution. It will take time but it's getting addressed.

"Latest profile posts" are at the very bottom. You can simply not keep scrolling. I don't see what the problem is.

I think it is an option in your acp under usergroups.
As for telling us they're annoying, again, set it up properly so they cannot be used and have some appropriate rules/guidelines on why it is the case.
Remember if you have some people signing up on there just to annoy you, do the right thing and catch them.
