Hey Andrew,

I recently ordered your addon.
First of all thanks for the great addon.

I would like to make a suggestion for improvement for the next version.
As you know sometimes admin notes can be a bit longer.

I have seen that it is possible to insert longer text, but this text is displayed unformatted (flowing text) on the admin dashboard.



Just, when I edit the the content and save it with e.g. Paragraphs, it still show on the Dashboard as "flowing text" like the in above screenshot.

Only when I edit it it will show it with Paragraphs formated text like below.



My suggestion would be,

• when adding notes, it should it be possible to have a title and the note text it self.
• after saving, only the title of the note should be displayed on the Dashboard
• on the right option buttons:

another option "view" should be added which displays the (with keeping the style e.g. Paragraphs) note content in a popup window (like the edit option).

The advantage would be that with many longer notes the dashboard does not drag unnecessarily into the leange

First, I appreciate your support and feedback.

When I created this add-on I thought a lot about what type of add-on this would be and how it should be scoped. I concluded it needed to be one of these three options:

1. Basic text box (vBulletin 4 style) widget
2. Enhanced text box with user name and timestamps (chat style)
3. Threaded solution with all the functionality (title, tags, prefixes, search, attachments, replies, etc)

I chose to go with option 2 because I thought it would be a better option than what was availble in vBulletin 4 and option 3 didn't make sense as a widget on the index page of the admin panel.

What I can do is respect paragraph spacing and this would be retroactive to every entry that you spaced paragraphs. Replace the text with a title that links to text is out of scope for this add-on as it would charge scope to the point of this add-on being very different than its current form.

Honestly, in my opinion, the dashboard would not be overloaded with to much text, it would only display just the headings, which would be much clearer and would relieve the dashboard.
