Amazon SES adds emails from own domain to suppression list

Hi,

for all those who use Amazon SES. I actually have a bigger problem and really don't know how to solve it. I'm banging my head for some time with this.

I have these settings in XF:

The domains are the same. But when you send something from XF contact form, it will try to send from forum@... to info@... . All fine except the mail never comes and Amazon SES puts the info@... email address to suppression list. I can remove it from that list, but it will go back with another try from contact form.

Same behaviour goes with this situation: a user has an email address with the same domain as the forum email. Same thing happens as stated above.

I hope someone who uses Amazon SES can reproduce that and knows a solution.

For any help, I'm very appreciated.

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Is this a global suppression?

FWIW, I use the same email address in both fields with SES without issue.

Exactly! But...

I've found my mistake. Troubleshoot it and the issue got solved.

For some reason I've had email forwarder enabled from forum@... address to info@... address, so I can read emails from one mailbox only. But since that forum@... address is used to send emails from the board the conflict shows up and my email got so suppression list. I've removed the emal forwarder in the CPanel and now it all works.

Hopefully, I'll use it without issue now too.
