Lack of interest Allow homepage choice of Latest Posts (since New is an option)

To clarify, XF already offers a setting for the homepage to be

New posts
When you use New Posts you see a Forum List button where the New Posts button would be in the Forums setting. Plus you get the sidebar. This is a nice feature but... the filter bar is set for Unread posts, and you have to toggle it for Latest.
My suggestion is to please allow a Latest Posts option without using the filter so we can display Latest Posts as our homepage by default and still be able to utilize the Forum List button and sidebar. Thanks!
