Advanced cookie consent (Beta) do you use it?

It seems my site isn't GDPR compliant (but not far off). I just wondered if anyone is using the advanced cookie consent option built into Xenforo - and why it's still beta. Apparently it's necessary if I'm using google analytics.

Or do you use a custom cookie consent banner/implementation?

Edit. Apparently I don't need it as I'm not using google analytics - just google search console with a gtag. But if I have embedded youtube videos then it needs cookie consent before they are played 🤔

I hope this helps someone else, but apparently if I set youtube to "no cookie" in the iframe coding (not sure which template yet). And have no Google Analytics (just a g-tag and google console), then the simple cookie banner is sufficient and it complies with GDPR.

However if you have other media embeds (X, Instagram etc) then you need the full cookie banner and consent before watching. If they are just links and not embeds then simple cookie policy is ok. (For sites with no ads and no google analytics). G tag is ok if it's just for search console.
