When setting up TOTP XenForo shows the following screen:
Scanning the QR code is easy - if the QR code is shown on another device than the one where you want to add it to the authenticator app.
While it is possible to copy-paste the code this seems rather complicated, a simple tap on the image would be much easier, the only thing missing here is a link on the image.
So my suggestion is to add this (missing) link to significantly simplify TOTP setup on mobile.
