We'd like to have these two options on the registration form and the force privacy policy accept page:
The checkbox preferences set by the user should also be visible in the user change log (like they are if set from the user preferences area).
I'll refer to the first checkbox (receive news and update emails) as CB1; the other related to conversation emails as CB2.

XF2 offers an option to have CB1 on the registration form. Only CB2 will have to be added there.
- Force privacy policy
No inbuilt option to have CB1/CB2 here. Both will have to be added on this page (screenshot attached).
Could anyone give me an idea of what all would be involved in achieving this? Any more details than template changes and building an add-on?
I don't know how to code add-ons, so any input on this will be appreciated. It'll help me figure out if I can take this on in the future or will have to hire someone else to do it. Thanks!
