The new post history feature is great, but unfortunately attachments are not retained on the server if a user deletes them via the editor.
I'd like to suggest and option in the ACP that changes the "delete" behaviour so it removes the attachments from view in the post, but retains the file on your server so it can be referenced/viewed via the post edit history.
I have no idea whether this is actually possible (or practical) but wanted to suggest it anyway.

NB: This was prompted by an issue in our For Sale forum where we couldn't prove, one way or another, whether an item was as originally shown/offered for sale (the attached photos had been deleted).
