More Ways to Play, Share & Manage Profile Music​

This major update expands Profile Music with new player layouts, a persistent mini player, SoundCloud imports, listening history, and more audio formats. It also introduces privacy controls, moderation tools, and improved playback across XenForo.

New Features​

Music Players & Playback​

• Added a Sticky Mini Player that remembers the last played track, playback position, and volume across page navigation (enabled by default)
• Added Cover and Compact profile player layouts, with a collapsible playlist in Compact mode and the original layout available as Legacy
• Added an option to show the mini player alongside the visible profile player, rather than only when the profile player is out of view
• Added system media controls with track artwork, playback controls, and playlist navigation in supported browsers
• Replaced native browser audio controls with a custom player featuring play/pause, seeking, and volume adjustment
• Added an optional Private Listening History with playback, individual removal, and full clearing, storing up to 200 recent tracks for 90 days across devices by default

Music Uploads & Sharing​

• Added SoundCloud URL Import as an alternative to uploading audio files
• Added support for OGG, WAV, and FLAC uploads alongside MP3, with individual format controls in the ACP
• Added an option to limit the maximum duration of uploaded tracks
• Added a user group permission to limit total profile music storage, in addition to track count limits
• Added track sharing through direct profile links with autoplay or BB code embeds
• Added individual track play counts
• Added WebP cover image upload support

Privacy & Moderation​

• Added individual Track Privacy settings with a separate permission to manage the audience of own tracks
• Added a profile music privacy setting to control who can view a member's music
• Added Profile Music Reporting through XenForo's Report Center
• Added moderation permissions, reversible deletion, restoration, moderator logs, and optional author notifications
• Added individual and bulk deletion and restoration tools in the ACP

Activity & Widgets​

• Added a Now Playing widget showing tracks currently being played by online members
• Added an option to display the currently playing track and its owner's profile in the online users list (enabled by default)

Improvements​

• Improved keyboard navigation and screen reader support across all music players
• Improved music editing to prevent incomplete changes when cover validation or processing fails
• Improved attachment ownership checks and music metadata handling
• Restored compatibility with XenForo 2.2 and PHP 7.2
