Overview:
- This add-on will allow users with the right permissions to submit a request to have their account deleted.
- To allow users of a group or groups request that their accounts be deleted set Can request their accounts to be deleted permission under the General permission group to Yes.
- Users with the right permission will see a new link called Delete my account added to the their user panel drop down menu.
- Users must tick the confirmation box and enter their passwords to be able to request their accounts to be deleted.
- The can also enter a reason as to they they want to have their account deleted. The reason field is controlled from the add-on options and it can be set as either required of optional.
- Admins can view all users deleted account requests at the add-on' s Delete account requests panel that has been added under the Users tab in the Admin panel.
- A thread can be created automatically at a forum of your choice after an user requests their account to be deleted. This can be useful if the admins want to discuss about that with the other staff members.
- You can set it so when an user requests their account to be deleted they can have their user state changed to disabled or moderated until a decision is made. You can also select if you want to revert back their account state to valid after their account deleted requests have been cancelled or not.
- Users account deletion requests and cancellations will be displayed at the User change log in the Admin panel.
- Whenever an admin cancels an user account delete request or clears the whole log, both those actions will be logged at the Moderator log in the Admin panel.
