Bring the most engaging feature of social networks to your community. Tobirama Story lets your members share photos, videos, text and links as short-lived stories, displayed in a modern full-screen viewer exactly like Facebook and Instagram.

Stories tray

• Beautiful stories tray above your forum list, showing a preview of each member's latest story.
• Two styles to choose from: Cards (Facebook style) or Circles (Instagram style).
• Unseen stories are shown first; viewed stories are marked in grey.
• Members can collapse the tray, and their choice is remembered.
• Includes a Stories tray widget you can place in any widget position.

Story viewer

• Full-screen popup with a blurred background on desktop, true full screen on every phone size.
• Progress bars, tap to go back or forward, press and hold to pause, swipe down to close.
• Automatic playback of all stories from one member, then the next member.
• Keyboard navigation, mute button for videos, remaining time before the story disappears.
• Fully compatible with RTL and LTR languages.

Glowing avatar rings

• Members with an active story get a glowing ring around their avatar everywhere on the forum.
• The ring color shows the audience: Public, Members or Friends.
• Clicking the avatar opens the story directly.

Creating stories

• A "+" button on the member avatar in the header, just like Facebook.
• Photo or video upload with live preview and drag & drop.
• Text stories on 8 colorful backgrounds.
• Link stories: YouTube, direct image or video links.
• Optional caption and attached link button.
• Privacy per story: Public, Members only or Friends only.

Reactions and replies

• Six emoji reactions: Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, Angry, with a floating animation.
• Reply field under each story.
• Replies and reactions reach the story owner as a direct message, with the story image quoted inside the conversation.
• The owner sees who viewed the story and how each member reacted.

Administration

• Story lifetime, maximum upload size and daily limit per member.
• Enable or disable video, text and link stories individually.
• Show or hide the tray, the header button, the avatar rings and the reactions.
• Dedicated permissions: view, add, delete own, delete any, bypass privacy.
• Expired stories and their files are cleaned up automatically.
• All texts are phrases, ready for translation. English included, Arabic language pack included.
