If your a dev you can also use this staff task addon to test your addons, because you can also have public staff instead of just staff, the users will just see the task link differently.

Q: Does this work for only staff task or can it be public?
A: Yes, you can send task to regular users, the only difference is staff will see the link to tasks in the staff bar, regular users will see the tasks link in the account menu. ( shown in screenshot-10 )
