Coupon Popups – DBTech Credits Bridge

This add-on enables DBTech Credits payouts for approved claims in the Coupon Popups add-on.


It acts as a lightweight, safe bridge between Coupon Popups and DBTech Credits, allowing offers to award credits automatically after admin approval.



Requirements

This add-on does nothing on its own.


You must have both of the following installed and enabled:


Coupon Pop
DBTech Credits

If either add-on is missing or disabled, the bridge will safely deactivate itself and no payouts will occur.



How It Works

When enabled:


Coupon Popups offers gain credit payout fields
Admins can define:
Credit amount (supports decimals)
Currency (from DBTech Credits)
When a claim is approved:
Credits are awarded to the user
Approval fails if the payout fails (strict mode)
All payouts are logged and tracked per claim


Safety & Design Philosophy

This bridge is intentionally strict and defensive:


Claims will not approve if DBTech Credits payout fails
No credits are ever awarded silently
No core files are modified
No data is lost if the bridge or DBTech Credits is disabled
Payout fields become read-only if DBTech Credits is unavailable

Designed to survive DBTech Credits upgrades without breaking
Uses official DBTech APIs (no direct balance manipulation)

This add-on only activates when all dependencies are met
Existing Coupon Pop installs upgrade cleanly
Removing the bridge does not remove or modify existing offers or claims


Important Notes

This add-on does not add credits by itself
It only connects Coupon Popups to DBTech Credits
Credit payouts require admin approval of claims
