Getting the XF style to look like its supposed to with my stuff. I got it working and I'm leaving the annoying CSS (making everything in multiple divs align to the top regardless of height) for later. Getting the hard stuff done than I'll polish the add-on later.

I've always preferred logic based programming over styling. CSS can be a serious pain in the ass sometimes.

CSS is more art than logic. I can get code to do what I want with little thought my following logic. CSS you have to actually think about for me. Lol.

I'm sad and resort to !important when I can't think of a solution. Lol

You should never have to use !important for your own add-on. More specificity and/or a custom class name should always work.
