You know... I've got a bit of an idea. Amy running into Aes Sedai soon after leaving the Inn. And that, despite it being perfectly innocuous from the Aes Sedai's perspective... It has Amy/Mierin paranoid as all hell. Which provides a rather good reason for not sitting around. All because of paranoia.
