When writing Aes Sedai I try to avoid using contractions, I imagine the thought process of someone who has their nose turned up at you at all times even if it's only in their head, and then I mix that with their character traits to produce a hopefully somewhat unique Aes Sedai.

When writing channeler related fight scenes I try to remember that they're fighting very very fast. With their minds.
