Could AI coding "duplicate" Xenforo like it was done for Adobe products, but alot easier because of the open code aspect of the product ?

Yes. Sorry, lapsed into work jargon. Right now, AI is mostly a development tool but adding AI transcription for charting is being talked about.
I’m still hoping xenforo 3.0 is just infrastructure. A platform. Not a forum.
There was a time when Xenforo Inc was able to produce a superior forum. It was proved - xenforo 1 at the time was the best. There were trade offs: it was community software as seen by xenforo and for whatever reason, it only ever became forum only software.
What has changed ? AI coding. Many mid tier coders can make very good addons. The gap between everyone else and xenforo inc, has greatly diminished. Xenforo should be Apple (iOS) and the App Store and just provide infrastructure. And if I just want to make a Reddit clone with a custom AI chat bot - that should be possible.
Or if xenforo doesn’t want to do it, let @digitalpoint do it, he can pull away disgruntled Wordpress sites and take over hosted websites with a modern infrastructure.
I suppose none of this will happen, but I think it should. Think about how little xenforo has changed in 15 years. That’s not the future. Things have changed.

AI coding needs guardrails and a safe environment to work in. Let the furor of xenforo be that infrastructure.

You definitely could if the right person/people wanted to do it (not me). Ai agents are pretty good at coding these days. They still need oversight/review though, so I wouldn't trust a "vibe coded" application by someone who's not really a developer. AI agents are a fantastic amplifier of skill though. They would help you get 100x more work done, but if your "work" isn't great to begin with, 100x amplifier of bad code is still bad code.

how'd you pick that one ? does it matter ? (never heard of it)(im not into AI), although freebie Claude taught me some great SQL queries and Gemini wrote me an amazing AutoHotKey script !
4-digits, yes... but I couldn't imagine a good comptuer for 3-digits.
The RAM was half the cost (regular RAM is expensive right now, super fast unified memory much more so... but it has 128GB that can be used as "VRAM" for AI models). Wasn't "cheap", but also not the most expensive computer I've ever purchased. Having a couple full time "employees"/assistants at my fingertips for no cost other than electricity definitely justified it.
It's my first laptop in 20 years (technically it's a laptop, but I have a keyboard, mouse and monitor, so don't use it as such). It replaced my 8 year old Intel-based Mac, so it's quite the upgrade.
Fancy.
