Sorry if I'm bringing up a bit of an old topic, but the OS X "upgrade" model actually follows the Windows 8.1 upgrade model (free). Mountain Lion wasn't a free upgrade if I remember correctly, and I've been told that Mavericks was only free because Windows 8.1 was.

I'd be leaning towards Vimeo, just because the colours there fit with the XF theme :P However, I use YT most of the time and wouldn't mind being alerted about a new video through there since I check it more than here.

There are ways to use different styles on different parts of your site so that it can appear to be multiple sites, but use one installation. It'd be much cheaper, and likely easier to use if you want to sync accounts over all sites.

Once I can be bothered to earn some money and buy XenForo, I'd quite like to start either a Development or Aviation/Engineering forum. That'd be really cool...

I like this idea. Would make a lot of sense. I did come up with an idea recently involving the replay button though. I thought that the current one could be renamed to quote, and a new reply button(labeled reply) could be added, and when clicked, this would also embed posts replied to or quoted...

I'd love this. It'd also be useful if it's in the same thread by the same person. On one forum I use fairly often, people will often spam like posts in threads, and I'll end up with 600 alerts in the space of a few hours. And it's a pain to have to go through all of them and find alerts worth...

Well, Brogan mentioned in another thread that he was never going to use the new smiley manager, so that could be put into it's own module. "Nice things" like that are the main features I think should be in their own module, and they can be used if wanted, and if not wanted, they won't just sit...

This is a pretty major idea, and possibly more suited to a 2.0 release, but I will suggest it anyway. There are lots of suggestions for very good functionality, and there is a lot of very good functionality being put into XenForo, but there are a number of features that I personally won't use...
