Thanks!
Nice site!
Great to hear that there is a path. Yes, the blog thing is blocking. I like Onimua's blog app, but I have been so burned with vB blog (and in general) that I really only want to use a very "middle of the road" solution that is actively developed. I fear going from one...
Thanks for the note!
I really want to use LN Blog, but I fear it is too nichy a product to dive into. We feel kind of burned by the vB blog, which is so lacking, and which has seemingly been abandoned by vB.
I am currently evaluating:
- Move vB blog to a "big" blogging platform (wordpress...
We run vB 4.0 and would love to migrate to xF. But we also have a blog on our vB site.
LN Blog questions:
- Will our vB blog come in?
- Are redirects built, so incoming links to the old vB blog urls will be found in the new LNBlog ?
- A big feature we have wanted in our blog: A simple...
>> I'd say there is only a 20% chance of a blog by xenforo in 2012.
Totally understood.
A clean, easy migration is our #1. We will stay where we are until we see a clear path forward.
Thanks!
I think the best for us to give the XF team another few months, and see where blogging stands. We have a couple of choices:
- Move forum to XF, move blog to something else
- Give XF time to mature, see where we stand
We are on vb 4, and are not happy. If I was you I would stay on vb3,x or (better) move to XenForo
We went to vb4, started using some of its features, and now migrating to XenForo is harder... (we have an active blog on vb...)
We are a vB 4 site, planning to move to xF in the coming months.
We are also looking to roll out real time chat, and possibly an iirc discussion area.
Any good examples, thoughts, of this in an xF context?
Thanks!
That rocks. Great job!!
If this existed for vb4.0 forums and blogs, we would be on it tomorrow!
We will check back in a couple of months and see where the blog feature stands.
I am really impressed with xF, the product, the team, the approach, the community. Very nice work. Really glad I...
