Ok I will look into this. It may be a good idea to actually have a banned user group as default as every forum in the public domain which will be most will have the specific need to ban certain users due to the amount of bots and spammers out there.

Rejection doesent actually have quite the same effect as banning. Most of the emails and ip's etc that are listed as blacklisted in the approval que are actually bots. They can maybe no longer re-register BUT....when your reject them they are actually registered but their user state is changed...

Hopefully you can get it fixed and working, it is the way that Xenforo implements CSRF that's the problem I think.

Is it possible to change the way the log in page opens. Can you make it so that it opens without being in an overlay? How would I do this? What is the template name for the header?

I wish I could disable it. Its not like its online banking or super confidential information I am talking about. I would gladly sacrifice security for speed. My whole site is cached, including word press blog, apart from the forum. Hopefully I will be able to get something working eventually...
