The conversion is probably not a problem. But the problem is php_gd, it doesn't know how to work with animated webp yet. The addon works for the most part of its functionality with this library. Animated webp exist, but they are not widely used. At least I've only seen a few in use.

You should install it, not me. And then you can use the addon.

I have checked the gifsicle x64 version on windows x64 by placing the program in the system32 folder - this led to the correct operation of the addon

It will not working if you place the gifsicle program for Windows itself next to the php executable file, or in the system32 folder. Other idea?
