I just needed to educate myself better on this. I got it all working correctly now using this addon without needing to change anything else besides adding some json to change the scope.
Is it possible in any way to change the scope of the PWA with this add-on? I currently run a site with a WordPress bridge. The WordPress is set up to act as the root homepage of the site, but is located in a directory like so:
www.{myTLDname}.com/wordpress/
www.{myTLDname}.com/xenforo/

@digitalpoint is there any way to show an avatar for the user when they receive a push notification? I have tested it but currently it only shows a "W" generic avatar. Wondering if I missed something.
Awesome. No problem at all given how much work you put into this already. I haven't set this up yet but I just yesterday finally took my large forum to v2.2.x and I had been waiting until then to finally start messing with this.
@Siropu It currently says this is for XF 2.1 and 2.2 but when you go to download on your domain it says 2.2+ only. Just an FYI.
Does the latest version work on 2.1.x?
Is there any reason why this feature was removed? It honestly makes the forums look bloated and take up space because we cannot put the subforums in a grid, thus making them big blocks instead of side by side.
Anyone who has successfully setup the websocket on this on Apache running CentOS 7.....I'd love any additional insight anyone can provide as it relates to this.
Late bump to this and meant to post sooner, but I was able to get a solution for this along with some general guidelines to pull other data if you wanted to.
