XF 1.1 Requested URL Not Found

I just installed a new version of XenForo on a Linux server. After configuring the forum, I received this message when I browsed to the home page (main URL): The requested URL /conversations/popup was not found on this server. Any idea what caused it/how to fix it? Thanks!

XF 1.1 File Permissions (CHMOD vs. suEXEC)

I have my permissions set to chown root:web where "web" is a group of developers (not www-data). So, Apache will run as the third user (everyone). Does XenForo just need read + execute for /data and /internal_data?

XF 1.1 File Permissions (CHMOD vs. suEXEC)

To use XenForo, I'm aware that the /data and /internal_data directories (including subdirectories) must be set to chmod 777. Here's my questions: (a) Can files within those directories be set to 644? (b) Can I use suEXEC to avoid having such loose permissions?

    XF 1.1 Using SSL

I see. How do I force XenForo to use SSL for the entire site?

    XF 1.1 Using SSL

I recently installed an SSL certificate from an external CA for my XenForo site. Is there a way I can set XenForo to use SSL (HTTPS) to encrypt connections when users login?

    XF 1.1 Permissions Error

For future reference, I learned that Liquid Web's Shared Hosting is NOT compatible with XenForo out-of-the-box. The platform meets the XenForo requirements, however, Liquid Web enforces strict security policies that prevent it from working properly. If you experience this problem, you need to...

    XF 1.1 Permissions Error

Thanks for your thoughts. I was thinking the same thing. This is at Liquid Web -- appears to be something weird with their mod_sec filters for shared hosting accounts. Looks like the only options are to (a) whitelist every possible page (a long, grueling task), or (b) to upgrade to their VPS...

    XF 1.1 Permissions Error

I recently installed XenForo on my shared hosting account at Liquid Web. Unfortunately, whenever I attempt to perform an action (e.g. post a message, preview a message, modify my profile, etc.) -- anything that sends a POST request -- I get an Apache access denied / forbidden error...
