I'm trying to set up an instance for Xenforo. I have light hosting setup experience, and I typically find what I need on Stackadapt for YouTube. However, I can't find anything related to setting up Xenforo on Google Cloud.
N1 - .25-96 vCPUs, 624 GB of Memory
Debian Linux 12
Any guidance here...
I've seen some xenforo sites that have the facebook login directly under the sign in portion of the front page. In other words, you don't have to click the sign in button to bring up the option of a Facebook login, it's right on the front page. Is this an add-on?
Will this slider support a link to a thread? I guess what I'm going after here is a rotating gallery where a certain image is clicked and you're taken to a particular thread.
Hope you are doing better. I'm still working on making my forum top-notch, so I'm not adding Wordpress for a while. I just want to have my ducks in a row when I do.
I'm getting the same error:
An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.
<!-- Access denied for user '***********'@'localhost' (using password: YES) -->
I'm going to reach out to GoDaddy, but is there any reason this would happen? Their terms state they will allow up to 200...
I'm running into this same snag. I actually installed Wordpress on the front end to install it through a Wordpress plugin (Xenforo still runs and appears through /forum). What's interesting is real time will show active users, but it's not recording their activity.
First off, let me say I'm blown away by Xenforo. The ease of use reminds me of when I first got into web development 10 years ago with Wordpress. Members and staff have been more than accommodating for any questions or concerns before I even purchased the software, even @Brogan ;)
My question...
