Is there somewhere within the Legend theme settings or code where I can remove or change the link to the Register button on the public navigation bar? Anything within XF's ACP does not disable it nor have I found a way to change or modify it. Any direction would be appreciated.

Okay, this makes a bit lot more sense. I'll inquire with ThemeHouse regarding this since I'm using their Legend XF theme for the forums. Thanks for the assistance, Brogan.

Just to give another bit of clarity, when the initial install of XF2 was installed, it was placed into a folder called forums under the WP directory.

I went into the ACP under User Registration and unchecked Enable Registration but this still displays the Register button, even if it is turned off in Public Navigation.

Since my WP site is hosted, the Xenforo install is located in a /forums directory. So this makes sense against the base url. But to answer your question, yes, I want to disable registration via XF and have it just through WP.
