I've received DM's from a few members of our forum expressing displeasure with one regular participant - several of these people have exercised the "Ignore" option.
Is there a way to report on who is being ignored and by how many people?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

What you're suggesting is a good idea and thanks for that - we may try it. But it's not exactly what I want. I'd still like posts in those nodes counted towards the user's total as seen elsewhere, just not towards the user's total when we're awarding trophies. That would be my ideal solution...
Something I can do is not count a specific node in New Posts. This is how it seems to be configured:
ACP, Nodes, pick a node, Advance Options, then
Include threads from this forum when users click "New posts"
Something I cannot do is not count a specific node when awarding Trophy Points...
I haven't used many XF add-ons - we have a developer who installs these things for us. Can you please PM me with information about purchase, support, etc. Or point me to that info here?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

I want, on a group level, limit the number of posts per user per day. I believe this add-on will do that - am I correct?
I see no mention of cost - where would I find that?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

The powers that be at our company have decided that our current approach, which is an Off-Topic prefix in our main discussion section, is sufficient for the time being.
I appreciate all the input - thanks, everyone.

We do something similar on our forum already - we are a strength-and-conditioning forum and we have two training log sections, one public and one private so that people who don't want to share what they're doing with guests and search engines don't have to worry about that.
I'd apply our same...
Do you find having a dedicated off-topic section adds value to your forum? We've had requests for it and are considering it.
Our forum is free to all our users; we see it as a community builder. The question is whether adding an off-topic section enhances the building of our community...
To clarify, it looks like I get both choices. This is from my approval queue, where it flagged someone as
StopForumSpam matched (username: 24, ip: 4)
I don't think I've ever manually used Reject, I just use Spam Clean.

IOW, rejected before their request to join gets to my moderation queue? Right now, I get the option to approve or ban such people or so I thought.
Thank you.

I am trying to understand what a user state of Rejected means, as opposed to a user who is Banned.
Background: I am poking around at new registrations on our forum for the month of March, 2024. No one is both Rejected and Banned. My approval queue shows people who, if they've been reported...
This would be: forum_name/community/admin.php?options/groups/usersAndRegistration/ then where it says
Username Registration
then
Username Match Regular Expression
is that right? If so, mine is now blank and you're suggesting I can enter the string you've suggested?
Just want to confirm...
That's what I did. My issue is that this didn't run through my approval queue because of the username - I would like usernames that aren't in the Latin alphabet to show up for approval - that would be one solution for me.
Again, my issue isn't with the username itself, just that I don't want...
