I just came across this today. Was also looking at a way to do away with the RSS icon and pages, as they take ages to open, if they do at all on my forum. I installed it on 2.3.7 with a purchased third-party theme and it worked perfectly. No issues at all.

I agree with most here. The iPad does not allow uploads from its file system, so it would not work anywhere as far as i know. But, I am impressed at how beautifully Xebforo display and work on an iPad!
