XF 2.3 Can't figure out the database info for an import

Who needs blue host to help when I figured it out myself. In the past, when I installed phpBB I installed it manually myself. This time I let their software installation app install it for me. I was using the credentials, database name, prefix...etc. the way I always did when I installed it...

LOL. At my age, I often forget things immediately. The sitemap that was created yesterday was done manually by me. And they're compressed.

XF 2.3 Can't figure out the database info for an import

Each have their own database, each has its own user and they are granted all rights to their respective databases. I've changes the passwords to the db users so that I KNOW the credentials are right. I'll call bluehost, I'm sure they'll get it right, but I also have errors for the paths to...

XF 2.3 Can't figure out the database info for an import

Getting ready to setup another forum. (That I can't afford) but it's for the wife and she insists. Happy wife is a happy life, right? I'm trying to configure the database to import a phpBB forum. but it keeps telling me my credential and the paths to avatars and attachments is wrong. What's...

    XF 2.3 No sitemap.xml created.

Well, your cron job worked, but the sitemap was saved to the internal_data folder and I had to move it to https://thevapeworkshop.com/xf The logs show "something" happened at the time I created the sitemap, but doesn't say what. Is there a way to increase the level of logging? How can I check...

    XF 2.3 No sitemap.xml created.

Did some reading. The sitemap belongs in the root folder of the website. At least from what I'm understanding, but the file is located in a sub directory; internal_data. Also, the sitemap file is not named sitemap.xml. It's sitemap-1772171747-1.xml. Will search engines read that? I'd think...

Robots updated. First, how can you see the files and folders of my forum? Also, the sitemap was named sitemap-1772171747-1.xml I renamed it and moved it to /xf. Lastly (for now:) even though I've told the ACP to update the sitemap, the only file is dated Feb 24th. Seem like it's not updating it.

I'm not seeing a folder with that name. Forgive me, I'm too old and shouldn't be playing with this "stuff", but my doc says to keep challenging my deteriorating brain. And having been retired since 2008, I'm easily bored. This is the robots.txt bluehost created in the folder public_html\xf...

    XF 2.3 No sitemap.xml created.

Good grief! I know my age is reducing the number of brain cell in my cranium, but I don't even see a folder: https://thevapeworkshop.com/xf/forums/hardware-reviews.24. I see thevapeworkshop.com/xf, but I see no sub folder of forums. How do you see that? What exactly do you do to access that...

    XF 2.3 No sitemap.xml created.

I go to ACP/option/XML sitemap generation, and click save. I get no indication that it was successful or not, and I search all folders within public_html, but see no sitemap.xml, except for the blogs. I DO have a sitemap.php. I make no changes to the settings. All is set to the defaults...

XF 2.3 Rearranging, then pinning threads.

Snagged it. Little more obvious than that tiny little thumb tack.;) I'm almost done rearranging. 16 threads in this forum. Had to list them in word, then number them. Not a lot of threads, and I don't imagine we'll be adding many more in this forum. It's pretty much all about lessons...

Evidently there's a "view sticky threads"as well. Dunno how I managed it, but I installed the wrong one. Once I installed the right one, it works! Thanks, Y'all!
