Sorry... yes... when a notification comes through, it sends an alert to Telegram. Some of my confusion came from the webhook. Was hoping that when a thread was created or a post made in xenforo, we could send that to Telegram as well, but apparently not.

But @Berg how do I send an alert? How does the webhook work? Please explain?

OK, i figured it out finally! Sorry for being so dense. Now my questions are... how to send an 'alert' to telegram and does the webhook, if setup, actually send alerts on new threads, posts, etc to telegram??

Well that could be the missing part... in ACP under connected accounts i add the bot. But in my account profile, when i go to connected accounts, click on Telegram, it just takes me to Telegram on desktop and then nothing. Again, sorry this is not more straightforward, but at least you can...
