Thanks Damon.
I was doubting if it was necessary to make a post on XenForo stating the fact that I'm no longer using Cloudflare. On one hand I can just stay quiet, but on the other hand I think it'll be fair to the other visitors/readers who's read my earlier testimonials that they get the...
Hi Damon,
I'm just using the reports from Webpagetest.org. That's the only tool I have to check on how fast the site is loading from different locations around the world.
No, there is no issues, no downtime no nothing. It's just that in the past 1-2 weeks I noticed that access time hasn't been...
I just did, Damon.
FYI I am now off of the CloudFlare system. It seems that lately the performance has gotten slower to the point that my site access time would be faster without CloudFlare. I don't know what happened, perhaps more and more people are subscribing to the service and the server...
I have the exact same problem with uploading images through Wordpress. The solution so far is to turn Advanced Security off.
Damon, can you please look into this? It's definitely not related to the image as it happens on several different image files, and the upload works just fine when I turn...
EVERY SITE? That's a lot of site -- unless you only visit one or two site on the whole www.
My site has never experienced downtime due to cloudflare and I'm a happy user.
Likewise I'm using pro also.
I realize this *may* be an issue with CF gaining more popularity and the DNS servers getting more heavily loaded. But I'd like to know what Damon says about this.
Damon,
I started to notice yesterday that the site can be quite inconsistent. Sometimes it's really zippy and at other times it can be really slow -- slower than when I didn't use CloudFlare. A webpagetest.org test also confirmed this. For instance a fairly normal load time is 4++/1++ for first...
Okay, more on CloudFlare.
I really don't know what happened, but the same trend continues for the past few days after I've installed CF.
Bounce rate was ~60% previously (ouch!) but now it has dropped down consistently to below 15%. (y)
Pageviews also has been up 190% and stays there...
Thanks, GR
What's interesting is that I actually find that perhaps 60%-70% of the people purchased stuff that is non related to what my website covers. They would browse around stuff and decide they need new batteries, new soap, new shaver and so on.
Sorry for taking this a little off-topic, but is anyone on Amazon Associates' program? I find it much better than Google Adsense in terms of bringing in money. The graphic banner widgets also look much better than the text-based Google Adsense Ads.
