The original question targeted addon-development.
For normal forum-operations - inclusing changing, uploading styles - the permissions for "data" and "internal_data" have to be set to "777" recursively. See install-manual note https://xenforo.com/docs/xf2/install-upgrade/#3-installing
Thanks !
Just put it in each of the 3 areas ? Replacing what is there ? (Excuse me, noob with styling. I'm just using the default typography settings ...)
@Mr. Jinx : your problem is your php-section. It tests if a showthread.php exists and if not, returns a 404. See also my post here https://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-redirects-for-vbulletin.142137/post-1255940
Hi Oz,
thanks for having a look at this.
Yes, this is the desired effect. The pagenav consistently on top right above the 1st post, irregardless of forum-type.
Esp in Q&A forums where there is a longer discussion spanning pages and a huge 1st post question, possibly with some pictures in it...
Hi,
in the mentioned forumtypes the pagenav is positioned after the first post, or - if answered - even after that 2nd answer post:
Is there some CSS magic or template modification that moves the pagenav to the top row like in other forum-types ?
I see the intention but my users complain...
Hi,
this seems not to work within suggestion/question forums. The pagenav is showing after the 1st post and the solution post.
I must admit I have no idea what the above CSS is doing, so any help there would be greatly appreciated.
Don't worry.
It turned out that I could re-run the migration rebuild-task (after enabling Liam's addon again) and that did apply the tag in all threads . (Actually I then had them shown twice but disabling Liam's again all sorted things out perfectly).
Is a rebuild-operation somehow setting the prefix currently ?
I ask because I migrated from LiamW's addon and the existing prefix got removed by disabling LIam's addon. The threads were migrated with the proper status but the prefix was not.
Currently I'd need to manually toggle each solution...
Hi,
could you pls. add the possibility to phrase "forums" by adding the "phrase_plural" in the content-types for the addon ?
I added this manually but it is overwritten each time the addon is updated.
Thanks
