Thanks but that did not work. :( Technically this is not a category. So the hierarchy of the forum area that I want to do this with is... Category Forum Area Forum Area (This is the area I want to set up in a grid) Not sure if that makes any different at all.

Is there a way to limit how many emails is sent out from the forum in one day without signing up for a costly subscription service or something like MailChimp? I want to do this from the XF ACP I don't want to deal with a service or paying extra for one. I need to limit my sending to 500 an hour...

Yeah I'm sure that is the case as I've never had this issue before. I will hunt something better down next month when I have the money again :( For now I'm stuck with using the VPS from the same company.

SIGH.....I heard back from my host. Well this is a shared hosting account and apparently they cannot disable this globally. They suggested a VPS account, which I might do depending upon the price IDK.

I really have no idea what I should put in the host field etc. Do I put my domain that the email I'm using as the default email on the forum? It looks like the host is going to be pretty useless on the commenting out that line in the ACTUAL php.ini. :(

I have sent them that info we will see what happens. How to I engage the SMTP? I cannot find it anywhere in the ACP. Do you have a step by step how to on that? I cannot follow vague directions as I have a TBI and vague directions make no sense to me.

I checked that url for php info and its the same as the one the host sent me.
