Auto-tags are pretty bad from what I've seen. Maybe suggested ones while you add them or as you type a tag in a text field. The tag display area in topic view should be easily moved or changed. Not everyone wants to scroll all the way down.

Invision Power Board has been superior in many ways for quite some time. People like all sorts of things, that's bad reasoning.

A bridge with Wordpress would be a better idea than a CMS. There's already plug ins and the ability for XenForo to make plug ins themselves. The XF developers could even create a basic skin/layout for helping people start to make matching themes for their XF forums.
