    vBulletin vs xenForo

In one of the browsers I use, I have seen the same behavior when you type in words in the StyleVar search field. The browser tries to make a new search for every character or backspace you enter. It's useless - but only in that browser.

    Internet Brands claims against XenForo

Same here. It's all about what contracts the XF developers have signed, and about the fact that IB has bought and paid for 'intellectual property'. If IB has paid a substantial amount for that property (which could more than code, like eg. ideas, concepts etc), the XF developers probably just...

    vB4 owners, show yourself!

I'm a vB4 owner, and quite happy with vB4. xF looks good as well. The one thing that sticks out as a not finished feature in vB4 is the Stylevar system. From the video I've seen here, xF styles both seem to be easy to edit and, default style is easier on the eye than the current v4 default...

    XF 1.0 Playing With Color

Yes, that would be essential - either both by using the graphical palette or and by entering a numerical value.

how to find all POLLS ?

A separate poll subforum sometimes makes sense, but the best solution (in order to get enough votes) is sometimes to place a new poll in the subforum about the topic the poll is about, which is why I like the idea about adding 'poll' as a search criterion.

how to find all POLLS ?

IMO the idea is great, because in order for polls to show useful results, they need more than just a few votes. One solution is of course to have a separate subforum for polls, but "adding Is a poll" as a search condition would be better.

Will you convert your vBulletin to XenForo when it's ready?

The main thing that would matter for me if I should consider moving over to a new forum software (using vB now) is if it offers a way to edit Styles that doesn't need detailed knowledge about CSS. At the moment, editing styles in vB is very time consuming, especially since editing a value for...

Features I don't like in xenForo

There are many nice things to day about XenForo, especially given that it's only an Alpha (since loads of features are missing). Should I buy XenForo, the first things I'd like to change is the light yellow/light orange bars, make lots of the very light blue stuf a new color (eg. Thread Display...

Is there a way to switch off the Likes/Trophy bars?

But I want to see others' signatures. :)

    Serif or sans serif font?

I like the 'classic' look of Serif, but maybe that's because so many internet sites mainly use Sans Serif fonts?

Is there a way to switch off the Likes/Trophy bars?

Is there a way to disable the Likes/Trophy bar display? They make the threads cluttered, come in different colors, are large and appear both left/right/center aligned. I'd like to see others' signatures, but the way things look now, that info bar asks for more attention than the post itself.

Implemented  Drop the "star" image for threads with new posts

Anything smaller, not yellow, and not looking like a star would IMHO be better. :)

    Not like this:........

Maybe it's a surviving habit from another board? ;) Facebook doesn't have Post Count or Join Date, and is doing quite well. :)

This is nice and all, but...

The look here is much cleaner and minimalistic than vB4, but removing some of the superfluous information from the default vB4 look can't be that hard.
