I'm a vB4 owner, and quite happy with vB4. xF looks good as well. The one thing that sticks out as a not finished feature in vB4 is the Stylevar system. From the video I've seen here, xF styles both seem to be easy to edit and, default style is easier on the eye than the current v4 default...

Yes, that would be essential - either both by using the graphical palette or and by entering a numerical value.

A separate poll subforum sometimes makes sense, but the best solution (in order to get enough votes) is sometimes to place a new poll in the subforum about the topic the poll is about, which is why I like the idea about adding 'poll' as a search criterion.

IMO the idea is great, because in order for polls to show useful results, they need more than just a few votes. One solution is of course to have a separate subforum for polls, but "adding Is a poll" as a search condition would be better.

I like the 'classic' look of Serif, but maybe that's because so many internet sites mainly use Sans Serif fonts?

Is there a way to disable the Likes/Trophy bar display? They make the threads cluttered, come in different colors, are large and appear both left/right/center aligned. I'd like to see others' signatures, but the way things look now, that info bar asks for more attention than the post itself.

Anything smaller, not yellow, and not looking like a star would IMHO be better. :)

Maybe it's a surviving habit from another board? ;) Facebook doesn't have Post Count or Join Date, and is doing quite well. :)

The look here is much cleaner and minimalistic than vB4, but removing some of the superfluous information from the default vB4 look can't be that hard.
